Jock N. Chandler serves on the Board of New Rural Project, leveraging his expertise as a member of the Grant Committee to help secure mission-critical funding. With a career spanning over 20 years as a District Manager in the pharmaceutical industry and a decade in supervisory roles with Lufthansa, he brings a wealth of leadership experience in strategic planning, budget oversight, team development, and organizational growth.

Previously, Mr. Chandler dedicated five years as Chairman of the Board for an Atlanta-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, where he championed educational opportunities for students in the Fourth Ward and supported affordable housing initiatives. His deep commitment to community empowerment aligns seamlessly with the New Rural Project’s mission of fostering sustainable change in rural areas.

Beyond his professional and philanthropic work, Mr. Chandler is a passionate road cyclist, tennis enthusiast, and amateur chess player. He is also pursuing a master’s degree in creative writing, reflecting his dedication to lifelong learning and storytelling.
